Planning Process

 

1. Project Launch & Direction Setting
The consultant team conducts a kick-off meeting and site visit with Cleveland County Water Staff to determine overall project needs and direction.

2. Analysis & Ideation
Planning team members assess the natural and built environments to determine preliminary greenway routes and identify opportunities for park and facility development.

3. Project Branding
The communications team conducts research and analysis to create a strategic brand platform and visual brand for the proposed greenway and parks.

4. Public Engagement
The public is engaged in the planning process through a variety of means including a project steering committee, public engagement video, website, and public input meeting for the draft plan.

5. Final Plan Development
Results of the public comments and an estimate of probable costs are prepared and incorporated into the final plan.
